Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Web Designer Luton (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set out the agreement between you (“Client”, “you”, “your”) and Web Designer Luton for the use of our website and services. By ordering, accessing, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Our Services
1.1 What We Do
We provide professional digital services, including, but not limited to:
Website design, development, and management
Regular website plans (Existing Website, Pro Plan, Premium Plan)
eCommerce website plans (Standard, Pro, Premium)
Monthly and yearly website plans
Website hosting and domain services
Advanced SEO services (including schema markup and AI-ready optimisation)
Business listings setup and guidance (e.g. Google Business Profile, Yell, Trustpilot)
Graphic design services (logos, business cards, menus, basic branding materials)
Optional add-ons and one-time services as listed on our website
Service details, inclusions, limits, and pricing are described on the relevant service pages and form part of these Terms.
2. Plans, Pricing & Payments
2.1 Yearly Plans
Yearly plans are paid in full upfront.
Services run for 12 months from the start date.
Renewal is required to continue services after the yearly term.
2.2 Monthly Plans
Monthly plans require:
A one-time setup deposit, plus
The first month’s payment in advance
Payments must be made via standing order.
Monthly payments must arrive on the agreed date each month.
If two consecutive monthly payments are missed, your website may be temporarily suspended.
If a suspended website needs to be reinstated, you may:
Incur a reinstatement fee, and
No longer eligible for monthly plans (yearly plans only thereafter).
Monthly plans only work if payments are received reliably and on time, as we pay hosting, licences, software, and tools on your behalf.
2.3 Deposits
All setup deposits are non-refundable.
Deposits cover initial setup costs, licences, software, hosting, and configuration work.
2.4 Payment Methods & Fees
Payments can be made via:
Bank transfer
Cash
Website checkout
A £10 handling fee may apply to payments made via the website checkout.
3. Support & Maintenance
3.1 Support Levels
Support varies by plan and is clearly stated on each service page. Examples include:
Limited or per-request support
Time-based unlimited support (e.g. 2 months, 4 months, or 12 months)
Paid additional support (£50 per request where applicable)
Support includes requested changes, updates, and fixes. Maintenance (updates, security, performance checks) is included as described in your plan.
3.2 What Support Does Not Include
Unless stated otherwise, support does not include:
Custom development beyond your plan scope
Third-party subscription costs
Content creation outside agreed services.
4. Website Content & Client Responsibilities
4.1 Content Provision
You may provide text, images, logos, and other materials. If content is not provided, we can create or rewrite content as part of selected plans or services.
You confirm that any content you provide:
Is accurate
Does not infringe copyright or third-party rights
4.2 Reviews & Social Media
You are responsible for:
Collecting customer reviews
Posting on social media platforms
We may guide you on best practices, but posting and review collection remain your responsibility.
5. SEO & Advanced SEO Services
5.1 SEO Nature
SEO is a long-term process. Rankings, traffic, and visibility depend on many factors beyond our control.
We do not guarantee:
Specific rankings
Traffic levels
Leads or sales
5.2 Advanced SEO (Yearly Service)
Advanced SEO is billed yearly because it includes ongoing work and paid tools, such as SchemaPro (worth £68 per year), which must remain active for schema and AI optimisation to function correctly.
If the service is not renewed, related tools and optimisations may stop working.
6. Business Listings & Third-Party Platforms
6.1 Third-Party Control
Platforms such as Google Business Profile, Trustpilot, Yell, and others operate independently and apply their own rules.
Approval, suspension, review moderation, and visibility are fully controlled by these platforms.
6.2 Eligibility & Proof
Some platforms may require proof of business, such as:
Limited Company registration
Matching business details across platforms
Physical signage for service-area businesses
Sole traders may face additional verification challenges.
6.3 No Guarantee
We follow best practices and provide guidance, but we cannot guarantee:
Approval
Continued listing
Protection from suspension or removal
If a listing is rejected, suspended, or removed, we cannot be held responsible.
7. Cancellations
7.1 Monthly Plans
You may cancel monthly plans at any time by giving at least one month’s written notice.
This notice period is required because many services we pay for on your behalf also require advance notice.
7.2 Yearly Plans
Yearly plans are non-refundable once started. Cancellation stops renewal but does not result in a refund for unused time.
8. Limitation of Liability
We aim to provide reliable services, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.
We are not liable for:
Third-party service failures
Platform suspensions or rejections
Loss of rankings, data, revenue, or business
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant service.
9. Data Protection & GDPR
We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and applicable data protection laws.
Details on how we collect, store, and use data are available in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The latest version published on our website will apply.
Continued use of our services means you accept the updated Terms.
